About us
Steel for Europe is an initiative on fostering steel security within the European Union. It aims to secure a reliable domestic supply of sustainable steel and its source materials such as coking coal, which is indispensable in the process of steel manufacturing thus of the upmost importance for the transformation of the European economy into a circular one.
Steel for Europe has been initiated by JSW SA and is open for any interested business parties who understand that Europe’s growth challenges are cumulated in technology, innovation and sustainability. They are also aware of the fact that steel is part of the strategic economic and political security of the EU and a key driver of pan-European competitive advantage in the global landscape.
